Common Questions
How do I create a quiz?
Sign up for an account, navigate to "My Theorems," and click "Create New Theorem." Add your questions, set answer options, and save. You can then host a live game session from the theorem's detail page.
How do students join a game?
When you start a game session, you'll receive a 6-character join code. Students visit theorem.academy/join and enter the code, along with their name. They'll be added to the lobby and can play once you start the game.
What's the difference between Multiple Choice and Game Show modes?
Multiple Choice presents multiple-choice questions sequentially, with automatic scoring for remote play.
Game Show displays a jeopardy-inspired board with categories and point values. It supports solo play,
local hosting (in-person), or remote play with a buzzer system for competitive team gameplay.
Can I make my quizzes public?
Yes! When creating or editing a theorem, toggle the "Public" option. Public theorems can be viewed and played by other users in the community.
Is Theorem Academy free?
Currently, Theorem Academy is completely free during our beta phase. We're focused on building the best possible experience for educators and learners.
How do I delete my account?
If you'd like to delete your account and all associated data, please email us at hello@theorem.academy with your account email. We'll process your request within 48 hours.
My game session isn't working. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Refresh the page for both host and players
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure all players are using the correct join code
